As much as I despised the look of the F10 when it first came out, but it's sort of looking like I'm gonna end up returning my E60 and possibly get an F10. I was looking at a new 740i but since I recently acquired an LS460 my budget has shrunk a little lol. I'm hoping for the best whatever the turnout may be!
BTW has anyone here returned/traded in an E60 528i and purchased/leased a new F10 2012 528i? I've driven the 528i with the new I4 Turbo engine and I'm thinking that I might regret returning my E60 for a 4cyl BMW lol...

Thanks! Not much more to learn and it feels like I didn't change cars at all because considering that it's the same color as my previous E60, it sits in my garage like an E60 also. lol. I just have to get used to "slamming" my door. The F10 seems to be more air tight for some reason :-/

Are those 18" wheels? Space Grey is always right.
More pics and details, please.

Yes they are 18" wheels. My beast hasn't been out of my garage yet because it's been raining here the day after I picked her up.
It's a Space Gray Metallic, Black Dakota Leather and Bamboo Anthracite Trim. Options are: Premium, Technology, and Comfort Access.
So far the only observation I've noticed is that I need to "slam" the doors just to shut it. The E60 could be closed by gently closing the doors. I miss having a trunk opener button in the E60 on the center of the vehicle (by the DTC button and radio presets). Now it's either on the foot well (by the engine hood opener), keyless remote, or on the trunk door itself. Also, I'm not sure if the Comfort Access in the E60 was the same, but I feel like the smart key "tap" on the door handles are too sensitive. When I close the door, the car locks itself right away! It thinks that I'm tapping the top of the handle where I can lock it. I'd much rather have the Lexus smart key where you either push the smart button on the handles or you actually have to place your hand on top of the handle for a good split second to 1 full second for the car to lock.
One thing I like about the F10 is the engine temp gauge which was oddly missing in the E60

Thank you!! Haven't had the chance still to release her from her cage (my garage) because there's still more rain in the forecast.
Anywho I have a question to anyone who owns an F10. Has anyone changed out the reverse bulb? I'm looking into changing my reverse bulbs to a bright white LED but I want to be sure that changing them won't be too difficult as I'm always skeptical about taping apart interior linings and plastic pieces from a brand spanking new car lol.
Can anyone shed some light for me?

Haha, I just picked up an F10 today and took side-by-side pics with my old E60 at the same angles. Guess after all that paperwork and haggling we all end up in the same nostalgic boat...
