Look at these angles. The shape isn't really working is it? Granted they're from ground level. You won't get those in the official pics

Also the chrome trim on the door handles doesn't really fit with the shadowline trim. Looks OK in the 3rd photo though.

Sorry guys but I just don't get it

Seems to me that the F10 has just become another if those cars that is too similar at first glance as everything else. Maybe it will grow on me in time but for the moment I'll have to look for an E61 M sport.

A lot of people at the show said the same thing. It's not so much that the E60 looks dated (like the E39 does with the E60), but more that the F10 looks so "generic" when compared to the competitors within the same class. Member 1600 said this and I agree.

Only time will tell, but without a body kit and some nicer looking wheels, the car is just BLAH.

Looks nice but I think they mixed the front end of a 7 and the rear of a 3 to get this new 5. While they were designing, they came up with the GT... Given that all of the previous 3's and 5's have a similar look, I personally don't think they spent much time on the drawing board as far as styling goes.

I have to agree that the AW looks great compared to other colors I've seen.

I don't mean to repeat everyone else either but I'd have to agree that some sports springs, bigger wheels and a kit will inspire more people to go for it.

PS. Congrats on the new car!

That's not mine. There'll be plenty of pics when mine arrives . Those rear wheels are 275/30R20 BTW. If it looks undertyred to you in those pics that ain't gonna be an easy or cheap fix...

Excellent remark, Przemek! I'm not sure though what would F10's author, Jacek Frohlich say...
(* the new Chief Exterior Design BMW - our contryman, directly from Poland by the way... )

Was it your test-ride? How were those 20"s doing on Warsaw's streets?

And if, when is your F10 coming? Ordered yet?

(+ great pics!!)
