Default P0030 Error Code - 528xi

My buddy has a P0030 error code in his 2013 F10 528xi (recently out of warranty). I've done some internet and forum searching on this, but haven't come across much. Has anybody else run into this code? It is likely related to an oxygen sensor, but could be a heating issue or fuse? Appreciate any input...

The heater element is integrated into the 02 sensor.

It was the O2 sensor. Dealer covered it under warranty.

Lol. Jagshemash!

He actually missed the warranty period, because it ended last night, but they gave it to him because the dealer rep on the phone originally claimed he was out of warranty.
