Hey there,
I have a big dilemma, I do not know which optional equipments to order for my incoming F11. Actually I have ordered a lot of them but now I am in doubt with the following four and I must choose two out of four as all four would lead the purchase of the car out of my budget.
The four optionals have about the same price and are the following:
Metallic colour
Head-up display
Panoramic glass sunroof
Active cruise control with "stop and go" function.
I was thinking to get the HUD and the sunroof but you suggestions and motivations are welcome.

Hi Marco,
Don't tell that I remember you told to leave the BMW family?
NO's
Metallic colour, if you like white or black, skip it. I did.
Panoramic glass sunroof, I don't need it for anything. Increases road noice.
YES's
Active cruise control with "stop and go" function, if you drive much on traffic jammed roads.
I would very much go for this!
Head-up display, I don't need, but could be maybe nice to have.
I did go for Pro Hi-Fi's.
But the PDC is a must!
One possibility is that you exceed your budget and get them all.
That seems a very popular way to handle things in both EU and US.

You remember well but the decision to stay in the family was taken soon after my announce to buy and Audi.
All the other options like PDC and Hi-Fi loudspeakers were already taken as well as comfort seats, automatic tailgate opener, privacy rear glasses, M sport package and many others..
Now I was in doubt only with the last four and I think I will go with HUD and Sunroof but not sure 100% yet

Yes-Metallic colour-more options to choos,
Yes-Head-up display-very helpful when driving,
No-Panoramic glass sunroof-you will open it about 2.5 times per year and interior will be smaller(lower headliner)
No-Active cruise control with "stop and go" function-could be dangerous for any other driver who is not used to it.

At the Adriatic Sea both the HUD (for the dark nights) and the sunroof (for the sunny days) are a good idea.
Must see pics of the car when you'll get it!
What color, interior and wheels?
