Default No power or ignition at all after accident

Hello, I recently purchased an f10 after a minor accident in which the airbags have blown. The trunk is closed, there is no power in the car at all probably because the battery is dead. I tried jump starting the car by connecting positive and negative terminals to a jump starter but still no power or ignition at all, no signs of power. What should I do next? I can see that the fuse box has been left open from the auction, maybe that has something to do with the cars power?

BST cable can blow during an impact. Check for continuity with a multimeter.

But, as I read, the BST only cuts the power to the starter, the interior electronics should still work from jump cable's power.

So, your car worked just fine until after the minor accident? What does your battery voltage read?

I do not know if the car worked fine before the accident. The battery is dead and it is locked in the trunk so I can't check the voltage.

You check voltage from the hood not the trunk. You'd also charge the battery from the hood. What are you actually trying to accomplish? If your BST is blown you'll have to open the trunk to be able to do anything.

You'll need to get inside the trunk eventually. Use the manual key.
