It does seem like 300 Hp is very low on an engine like that considered that a Kia optima outputs 274 Hp on a 4 cylinder engine. I test drove 550 with M package yesterday and it's now even tougher decision. 535 or 550? What's the deal with this new power bump? Any more details? Oh and did you hear that diesels may be coming in next 2 years?

I'm in the same boat.... I have a 2007 E60 550. Been thinking about trading it in for F10 and was shopping for a used F10 550sport today. Impossible to find a decent priced one and honestly I dont know enough about the car yet. Like its predecesor, I think the jury is still out. I am gonna wait a bit. I also have concerns over the turbo motor in the 535. Many problems from 08-10 in the E61.. not saying this is the case in the F10, but still want to see what the reviews are.

If you do buy an F10, I would buy a used 550 before a new 535 any day. Once you have a 550, trust me you will never go back. I had an E39 530 and a E60 530 (brand new)....Didnt put a smile on my face like the sound and torque the V8 offers..

So i think i made a decision to go with the slightly used 535 or 550, whichever comes first.

I have been told that M Package tires usually wear out at 13,000 Miles. Is that true? I really like all the features M Package comes with, but 13K sounds bad. Some tires have manufacturers wear warranty for way more than that.

Or should i not even care about the M Package so much? I really like the different bumpers and sides, etc.
