Guys, brand new here. Just placed an order with my local dealer for a 2012 535i, titanium silver, black dakota w/ anthracite wood, sport, premium, technology, cold weather, sport trans, power rear sunshade, side/top view cameras. I'm upgrading from a 2006 330i. Build is scheduled for 3rd week of January, delivery anticipated by end of February. Can't wait.

Planning on doing the JB N55 Stage 1 tune. Anyone here tried this in a F10 535i?

Congrats bmclaurin and welcome to the site

Great upgrade. Did you get Sport seats, Professional Hi-Fi's and at least 19" wheels?

The OP wrote "Sport" that comes with multi contour seats (aka sport seats albeit w/o the adjustable huggers anymore) and 19" wheels. I just started reviewing the specs on what I am thinking about ordering ... my dealer is trying to convince me to buy one they just got in - a 535 all wheel with the M Sport pkg but it's that special black sapphire metallic and I think it's too dark a color. Leaning more to the Space Grey ?!? I'll have to see what kind of a check I have to write to the IRS to see if I have an extra $40K pocket change handy this quarter.

If I come up a little short maybe someone would be willing to give me a belated Christmas / Hanukkah present ?!?!?!

Thanks, guys. Yes, I ordered the non-M sports package, which comes with the multi-contour seats, as luigi stated. I forgot in my OP that I also ordered Active Roll Stabilization. Should definitely be a sweet ride. I remember when I ordered my 06 E90 330i that the build/ship wait is agonizing. Will likely be spending a lot of time on this site in the meantime.

I'd like some feedback too on the JB N55 Stage 1 tune. 50hp and 60tq to the wheels is pretty temping for only $400.00.

Supposedly Dinan is on the verge of releasing their N55 Tune, which is rumored to be in the 60-70 hp range. You pay a premium though for the warranty, as its cost is said to be around to $2k or 5x the Burger tune. Dinan's N63 tunes for the F10 550 run $3k for Stage 1, and $4k for Stage 2, so I guess I guess that makes their N55 tune a bargain in their book.

HARTGE also has an F10 N55 ECU out that raises the output +86 HP to 266 kW (392 hp) / 5660 rpm 480 Nm (lb-ft 354) / 2950 rpm, but I have no idea of the cost though:

HARTGE ECU - 11 35 2306 J

You also may want to check out Vishnu's PROcede 5, which is $745 and and supposedly good for 370 hp:

Congrats, I also had an e90 330i...great car, but you'll love this one, especially the seats and roominess, very comfortable on long trips

Congratulations. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I'm also thinking about ordering a 535i.
