we can order as soon as the first batch starts in the production line but because of logistics we get them 2 months from the date of finish production, as most cars here are made to order as it's a tiny tiny market, so I think BMW does not care about this market

If your market gets new models sooner than larger markets in Asia, that's great! You'll have to thank the local BMW importer!

well the buyers order cars with their own pocket money , the dealer here. Has very less cash investments , if a 523i cost $120 k then $75 k is due on order and rest before delivery from customs. I am sure a 523i with tons of option pre tax and registration don't cost $75 k . The dealer however brings 320i and X5 and x6 for stock inventory but then the mark up is huge when they bring it before someone orders it.

All dealers for all car makes all over the world require a deposit/down payment on cars factory ordered. As for mark-up, are you saying that in Bangladesh, it costs less to factory order a car rather than buying one that is in stock??? If this is the case, it is a very interesting business model!

If BMW itself controls the ordering and importation of BMW cars to Bangladesh, there should be a standard mark-up for each model and configuration. Of course, there will be variations, but higher volume and lower end cars such as a 320i will in general have smaller mark-ups while cars such as 760iL Individual will have much bigger mark-ups. However, in Bangladesh, BMW doesn't sell enough cars to warrant a BMW Bangladesh office (I did a quick search and the official sales numbers are less than 300 per year). Your BMWs are imported by the local dealer via the Asia head office which is in Singapore. All other cars are probably either self imported (if this is possible in your country) or through grey or parallel import channels.

If buyers in Bangladesh have issues with the local dealer (importer), they should contact BMW Asia in Singapore. Starting in 2003, the dealer (importer) in Bangladesh used to be Executive Motors, but in 2006, BMW appointed a new dealer to be the importer I believe.

Maybe we should be talking about what the F10 looks like and its options....... As to when it gets here, well, we should see if it's something that we like or not!
