Wonder how long it will take someone to modify the new F-10 Hood onto an E60 -either using Photoshop or actually physically constructing it using carbon fiber or sheetmetal?

Really? I figure it would be SO difficult as every dimension would be entirely different from the E60 hood, that it would never even be attempted! That being said, I would still look at the results if it DID occur! Perhaps you should be the one to attempt this as you were the one to suggest it in the first place!

That's what happens when you you mix a Dutch designer, German car company executives and a Dutch coffee shop !!!
Looks like something fell on it and dented it.
In actual fact I think they have to put those creases in it to give it structural strength because the hood is so light and would otherwise bend.
Still that car looks very nice. It'll be a slow grower, then a terrific auto.

I did actually wonder how would the two large ribs from the F01 hood look on an E60
I suspect it can be done to look really aggressive and racy and I could try if I had a clay model or something. I mean just enlarging the outer pair of lines on the E60 hood to represent the form of the F01 ribs.
But its a very picky thing to do on photoshop and I have almost no experience with the program, so its a no-go for me. But if anyone else wants to do it - very happy to look at the results
I was also thinking that some tuner might decide to make such a hood for the E60. Not a replica of F01 or F10 with all its creases, but just putting those two ribs to make it more aggressive and in line with the new corporate identity, sort of

why would someone do that? did people graft e60 hoods on e39's?
To answer your second question: "...did people graft e60 hoods on e39's?" I wouldn't know.
