I think we need to study the CS concept for styling cues for the F10, I have been told that this concept is the foundation for all future designs , apparently the new 7 has borrowed from it heavily so you have to assume the 5 will too... I hope !!
The CS gives me full unadulterated wood!! Where as that test mule is HIDEOUS

First look at next 5-Series? Although its covered in a disguise.

BMW is starting its first tests of the upcoming all new BMW 5 Series in public in the roads of Munich. The photos, taken this afternoon, are showing a first prototype.

Notice the quad exhaust on the test mule.

I know it's not accurate...but that rear end looks like a SAAB (no offense to SAAB owners) hope it's not too close...notice the beltline "crease" has been rounded over the current gen....

This feels like a MB CLS but with a BMW badge

+1 The lines on the side look exactly like a CLS. I happen to love **most** of the CLS' angles so I'd love to see what BMW could do following that same design.

Ouch... I hope the F10 will NOT be like the paintshop pics below. I don't like the grille, and I don't like the looks of the entire car...
Sheesh...I would keep my E60 anyday against this "new look".... but it wont happen...thats a honda civic 2008 body ...

Yep ignore those photoshop pics (worthless), I posted this more for the test mule shots.

Even though its disguised, you can make out a few things, like the quad exhaust.

looking at those pics, the rear seeing the lights reminds me of a 7 series. +1 with tas. i 100% prefer the looks of our e60s compared to that photoshop and the other photoshops we've seen.

Dude, someone superimposed BMW styling cues onto an Audi A6. Look at the outlines of the front trapezoidal fascia and the curvature of the sideskirts. A6 styling all the way.

As for pics of the test mule, the front disguise makes the car looks like the Jaguar XF.
