max torque for 8-speed auto in diesels

Here's some tech info regarding the 8-speed automatic gearboxes in the F10.
The reason for looking this up was because I wanted to know what kind of diesel tuning box I could use in my upcoming 520d minimizing the risk of blowing the gearbox to high heaven because of too much torque.
(That said, I have not decided wether to get a tuning box or not...)
Anyway, here's the info I found :
The 520d and 525d are equipped with a ZF 8HP45 specified for a max torque (diesel) of 500 Nm.
The 530d is equipped with a ZF 8HP70 specified for a max torque (diesel) of 700 Nm.
The reason for looking this up was because I wanted to know what kind of diesel tuning box I could use in my upcoming 520d minimizing the risk of blowing the gearbox to high heaven because of too much torque.

The engine (520d) may not be as bad as of what you may believe on my writings,
but better torgue at under 1.500 rpm would be very nice to have.
There may also be some BMW updates to come as the facts reach the BMW HQ's.

According to BMW, expected delivery is this week!
My sales rep is on holiday now but he has prepared all the paperwork and he has promised me to be on standby.
Hopefully...HOPEFULLY it will be here and ready for pickup by friday.
