So another way to describe the feeling you get in an F10 is the fact you feel like an OLD man driving around. Nobody even checks out the car and it is in its first year! I always felt like the e60 sport was the ultimate young guys sport sedan. Was a step up in caliber and experience than the 3 but yet sportier and sleeker. Now the 3 is more desirable and the 5er is a step down IMO.
So if you want to feel old and bored-get the f10

I agree, and the new 3 doesnt look much different

Don't you E60 guys have your own board to go to.....or as I suspect, are you so tired of your old, beat-up E60s that you feel the need to come here and read up on the F10's to give you a break from your misery.

Pete this is not "your own board" you don't own it.
I am sure you like your F11 and have pride of ownership but if someone says something negative about the car it is not personnel.

Please put your gun away and enjoy your car and the discussion.

V70cat, you already told us many times that F10 loaner you drove reminded you your dad's Lincoln. It's OK if you feel that way.
I gave you advice to test drive F10 with DHP. If you will not like it than this car is not for you. What else to discuss? There are plenty of former e60 owners on this site and on bimmerfest.com who are happy with their F10.

Geobmw,
I think your comments and advice with regard to DHP is helpful.
Given the size of the car I think that cameras or park distance might be worth getting. I have park distance on my E61 and really like it.
With regard to my Town Car comment it was Pete that had to debate it and not understand the analogy.
As far as other discussions I was wondering what kind of mpg are you getting with the 550 and does anyone own the F535?
