I have to admit... Nothing really jumps out at me. It certainly is missing something, and I really hope that isn't the end product... Wheels are ok, but not big enough. Suspension is too high, and the M Kit is nothing special either... Come on BMW, we KNOW you can do so much better than that!!

Those wheels are OK at best.

Several weeks ago, I got to thrash around a brand new E350 in the canyon roads in Malibu. I went on some of the most hellacious twisties in the greater LA area. I drove the car for 4 straight days. It was a rental and I drove it like I stole it. The new E sucks in the corners.

I am sure that the E63 would perform much much better but the non AMG E Class cars suck when the road turns twisty. Tons of body roll and numb steering. No fun at all. Can't hold a candle to the 5 Series in the handling department. Unlike an Infiniti M with sport package, the non AMG class E class cars are not even close to the 5 Series in handling.
But the new E Class sure does look nice to me and has a better sound system/nav than the 5 Series.
