Well, may the force be with you.
The force sucks. Turn to the dark side.

Sounds like most sources say March/April deliveries on the first F10s. I don't see myself going F10 until March of 2012 when my lease runs out on my 550.

CPO warranties on both my 6er and 5er expire sometime at the end of 2011. I will keep both until they start having issues, (likely through 2012 or even later) and then buy (somewhat depreciated) used F10 and whatever new 6er designation is going to be. Most likely M versions too. Can't wait to see them in person.

Well, what sucks is that my lease is up on my 550i in January. I can't get a E60 M5 now, and I want to do a ED at the Weldt. So the in the know guys, according to my main man in socal tells me that I will be able to pick up the F10 in late April, so I don't know anyone special or have an inside track, but this is what was given to me a few weeks ago....although the new JAG is smoking hot....

I recall there was a post not so long ago claiming that E60 M5 deliveries will stop in December. If so, that would roughly fit within your time frame. You are going to be too early for the F10 unless you get BMWFS to extend your lease. Also, I doubt that the F10 M5 will be released at the same time as the non-M5 F10s. BMW has typically rolled out the M5 version of the 5 Series at a point in time after it has released the lesser models.

+1 Normel F10 M5 will come out about 1 to 2 years time after the f10 has arrived.

wow I did not know they will stop making the M5 in December.
they must have all many M5 laying around, must be very cheap for the last stock of M5 then.

That was my post concerning the end of the line for the E60 - M5. I want to do a spring ed, not december, so production will cease before I am ready to buy/lease. Curious now though, if buying the tail in of a production line affects the residuals at all...

That could be good for me. My 550i lease is up in October 2010. That gives 6 months to get the bugs worked out.
I hope I like the F10, otherwise, M3 here I come.
