My Ride: 2011 F10 535i -Brilliant Graphite/Oyster
2006 E5004matic- I must have been on drugs when I got this car
2004 545i Black Sapphire/Truffle Brown interior
Sorry for not posting pictures, was to busy getting used to the car last night and it's been raining today so the car is pretty dirty, will try to get some up ASAP. Had some good driving time today on the way to the golf course, went through a radar trap and cannot believe I did not get nailed.
Only thing I can compare this car to is my previous 545 which I got rid of 29 months ago, have been driving an MB E500 since then, we won't even go there. Given that my E60 and my MB were both 8 cylinder vehicles I was a bit apprehensive going to a 6, but after driving the F10 all day I see I will have no more worries, this car can really move. I am not so crazy about the steering wheel though, I find it much thinner and harder than my E60, guess I just need to get used to it. Also will need to get used to the gas peddle, perhaps it is the turbo but I feel a very slight lag, next few days will tell the story on that. The drive is a bit more cushy than my E60, but in sports mode , the car certainly is much more aggresive.
Cornering and holding the road on highway entrance ramps is just as good as the E60 this car does not budge, holds the road with little to no body roll at pretty aggresive speeds ( I know I should break it in , but I can't help myself ). Am having a hell of a time getting used to the electronic shifter, am always checking if I am in drive or reverse but I am sure I will get the hang of it shortly.
All for now, gotta run, thank you all for your good wishes, will keep posting as time becomes available.
Congrats to all those that have recently or will be taking delivery of their F10's shortly
