Great info as always, Tachyon.

I'm starting to think it doesn't make as much sense as I once thought to separate out the different versions. In the case of the E Class, the coupe and convertible versions are sold and marketed as E Class vehicles and are very close in price to the standard sedan/wagon. The 5GT isn't that different in price either, there's only a few thousand between the F10 and F07 (with the 550 being closer to its GT brethren than the 535). Put these back on play and we're talking 4318 5 Series (29,605 for the the year to date) and 5114 E Class (37,074 for the year to date).

Still, the numbers do tell us that BMW only sold 216 GT's in July, and if I have it right only 1399 for the year to date...

It will be interesting to see how the new A6 fares over the next few months too. Supply is constrained right now and Audi dealers have little to no inventory to sell. I'm predicting sales will be much stronger once supply starts to catch up with demand.

It will interesting to see the August numbers since the 2011 ordering is winding down... and I suspect a lot of potential 528i buyers that were on the fence may be looking to get the last of the I6 engines.

Interesting is that the Lexus CT 200h did sell so good.
It's only a Prius in Lexus cloths and a very small car. Good marketing!

Thanks tachyon!

Looks like the new 6 series is a hit.

Surprising the Jag XJ isn't selling well....that is one Sexy car in my opinion!

Looking at those sales figures, makes it seem all this talk about another economic recession is just hogwash....people still have money to burn.
