My only disappointment with the new 5-Series is that I wasn't expecting to like it so much.

My current E60 with M-Tech kit, 19" Style 128's, glossy black trim, and LCI taillights is the most complimented car I have ever owned. Although I fully expect to keep it for at least another two years, these pics make it more challenging than I had planned for. I have already drooled over the new 7 at the dealership with its Sport package, so if you want to call this a "mini-7" that's fine by me.

These are my 3 favorite exterior shots -- which are yours? Btw, for those who like their all black grills, the nighttime shot's lighting below gives you a pretty good indication of what to expect even though this is a chromed grill.

How folks can call this design plain, boring, etc. is beyond me, but it's even more clear that one's tastes are always personal. I'll leave it at that out of respect for everyone here.

I said I wouldn't buy Titanium Silver again, but I'm starting to reconsider.

Looks good and I do love it but I have to say it again -- it's starting to look dated -- for real! I always felt that the E60 design was ahead of it's time back in 2003 but now, next to the F10, at least to me, it's starting to look a little bloated and a bit old...

Agree. All revolutionary designs are like that.
Having said that, there is a good chance there is always going to be an E60 in my garage.
I might get new F10 in a couple of years to replace my 545i, but I will definitely pick a E60 M5 at the same time. They should be cheap in couple of years.

I said I wouldn't buy a blue car, but I'm starting to reconsider.

That is a BEAUTIFUL car that always will be. Love the wheels, btw. When I was picking out what I'd buy on the new F10 I selected a set that looks extremely close to those in 20" -- may be the same model.

My first BMW was alpine white and I still wince inside every time I see one that's in good shape and clean. It's such a great color on these cars, and I especially like BMW's 'alpine' version of it. I'd like alpine white with two tone black & brown, black & red, or black and silver. We shall see ... For now, I'm still in love with my silver E60 with all black interior, but things have cooled a few degrees between us since the new girl moved into the neighborhood.

When the E60 came out, I said the E39 was the best ever 5 series..then I went and got myself an E60 cos I thot the E39 looks abit dated...haha, now I am feeling the same thing with the F10..soon I will ditch my E60 for the F10 and say the F10 is the best design every for 5 series....

And so..no one' right and no one's wrong!!

But one things for sure to me..the E30 IS still the best designed 3 series EVER..Period!
