Yesterday, I was able to place an order for my 550i with the Top View camera system as a July build so, unless something gets kicked back in a few days, it looks like the September SOP delay for that feature has been lifted.
If all goes well, I'll be taking delivery in late August or early September!
In case anyone's curious as to what my new signature will look like in less than two months, it'll look something like this:
2011 Alpine White 550i w/Sport Automatic Transmission, Sport Package, Active, Ventilated Mulit-Contour Seats in Beige Dakota Leather, Light Wood Trim, Cold Weather Package, Convenience Package, Driver Assistance Package, Dynamic Handling Package, Premium Package 2, Active Steering, Ski Bag, Split Fold-Down Rear Seats, 4-Zone Automatic Climate Control, Side and Top View Cameras, Head-up Display, Smartphone Integration, Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection. (In other words, I got everything except the Anthracite Headliner and the Rear Seat Entertainment System.) Build completed July x, 2010.

I finally got to test drive an f10 550i today...fully loaded with the top view camera and all, a nice feature..won't be on my order tho (if I do order one

I would think if made available before Rudy takes delivery, he can add that option, I'm sure they can install the M tech kit at the VPC.
