Rudy, you got me in trouble again. First I bought a BMW that I can't afford and now this. I was playing your video clip relatively loud and my wife and 32 year old daughter walked in the front door. My wife said that I am immature, which is true. I said that one of my friends posted it on the Internet. She said "What kind of person would post that on the internet?". I said "Rudy".

She probably replied, "Oh, HIM again..."

Well at least I tried to be a good 'netizen by posting both the NSFW and clean version...

BTW, did you know that NSFW really stands for "Not Safe for Wife?"

Hey Rudy, did your car pass through the VPC yet? I'm still waiting to here from my CA. Apparently the Dealer's online system was down all day yesterday

System was down for my dealer yesterday as well. If I have a chance today, I'll ask again. One thing that I was told -- but have no idea if it applies to our cars -- is that there was a tire inventory shortage in Germany for certain cars (I think 5 series cars were included in this) and instead of holding up production, they installed the incorrect tires at the factory to keep the cars moving. Once the cars go to the VPC, they installed the proper tires, if they were in stock. I also heard that some cars were waiting more than a week for the right set of tires to be installed.

Hopefully, this issue was resolved and our cars will pass through the VPC quickly!

I heard that too about the tires. My CA just got back to me tonight and my car's still at the VPC. He says ETA is 11-13-10, but I'm definitely not holding my breath until it's on a truck. Guess we'll see, but it already seems like there's a hold up.

I don't think that's much of a hold-up. Assuming they don't work on the weekends at the VPC, the earliest the cars would even be touched would be yesterday (Monday). It's unlikely that our two cars are the only ones there so you have to add a few days to give them a reasonable amount of time to process the cars through the VPC. From there, it may sit in a lot (maybe for a day or so) before it gets on a truck. In your case, the ride on the truck is more than a day so if you add everything up, I'd say the 13th is likely a "normal" schedule (with no strange hold-up issues.)

In my case, the truck ride is a half-day so I may see mine just a bit sooner...

I just learned that my car is not part of the tire campaign but is still in Baltimore. I imagine it'll leave there some time this week...
