Have used bluetooth to get my iPhone 4 connected, and my contact
and message are working properly.. however, did not see the calendar function
at all no matter how to reset things. any suggestion?

I tried to use USB connection and it does recharge my iPhone's battery, but still don't see
calendar popping up. it is driving me nuts.

For iPhone connection, there are 2 apps at iTune app store. One is "BMW connected"
and another one is "my BMW Remote". Both are free to download. If you select any one
of them, it will direct you to the app. You will find "MY BMW Remote support" or
"BMW connected support". It will direct you to another screen. select "Mobile application"
and you can find the PDF files to show you how to get connected.

I tried "BMW connected" and I got
a) web radio
b) calendars
c) e-mail
d) facebook and twitter

I was a bit surprised that "BMW member" site does not have a video or
provide such information to customers in "BMW assist" brochure.

will try my BMW app this weekend to see if I can remotely control my BMW
using my iphone.

Have tried "my BMW Remote" this weekend. It needs "BMW assist" service first.
For new BMW customers, we can sign up and get first-year free service.

It was supposed to do:

a) Find your BMW (Like find your iPhone/iPad app).
Well, did not work for mine. it will not show where your BMW is on a
google map. If we call BMW assist, it will locate it.
b) lock and unlock doors
It did not work for mine.
c) set alarm.
Did not try.. don't want to wake my neighbors up.
d) make car light flash.
It worked.. but it takes 1 minute to get it going.

My recommendation: If we have trouble, might as well call the "BMW assist"
and get things working. They might make it a better app later.. will see.

It will be really nice to have the car location service working on a map for the last
24 hours. We can later track where we have been if we find a good place to stop, but
cannot do it at the time.
