First click means STOP!
used to squeeze an extra litre or two into the E60 after first click. Try that now and get diesel all over your shoes

I haven't had a problem squeezing out a bit more after the first click. I never spilled any on the E60s and I haven't spilled any (yet) on the F10 (and I do usually go past the first -- and sometimes second -- click.)

You should always wait a while for the foam to settle down.
Maybe the fuel pumps are different in Finland bacause over here you must hold the
trigger down all the time. I did use a cigarrette pack to keep it coming but no more with the diesel fuel - the handle usually stink diesel badly.
But still I do usually click, click, click and click and always use gloves that I have in the trunk for this reason.
