I was this week at the Geneva Motor Show and had the opportunity to play with the new i-Drive of the F01 (which will probable find its way in the future F10). I found it quick and responsive, and the interface intuitive. The additional buttons are very ergonomic too.
I've also talked to a rep of Goodyear/Dunlop, about a new RFT concept (3rd gen) they were presenting. He didn't know the technical details, but said the construction was very different and as a result the tyre was much lighter and the side wall less stiff. Maybe we will soon have RFT's without sacrifice (or less compromise than now at least)? |
The 9th generation in 2025 maybe.
The RF's are a :D for a normal driver. There's no material yet found that is good for the job and costs less than diamonds. |

Did you see the Alpina 7-series? That was sweet! Wish they would release the wheels on that car for the 5...
