I was this week at the Geneva Motor Show and had the opportunity to play with the new i-Drive of the F01 (which will probable find its way in the future F10). I found it quick and responsive, and the interface intuitive. The additional buttons are very ergonomic too.

I've also talked to a rep of Goodyear/Dunlop, about a new RFT concept (3rd gen) they were presenting. He didn't know the technical details, but said the construction was very different and as a result the tyre was much lighter and the side wall less stiff. Maybe we will soon have RFT's without sacrifice (or less compromise than now at least)?

The 9th generation in 2025 maybe.

The RF's are a :D for a normal driver.

There's no material yet found that is good for the job and costs less than diamonds.

Well I guess I was just day dreaming or something. May be it wa because of the atmosphere of the Show.

Did you see the Alpina 7-series? That was sweet! Wish they would release the wheels on that car for the 5...
