You can get your car vinyl wrapped for much less and it's reversible.

My Ride: 2004 545i 6-speed, jet black on black, sport package, dynamic handling package (active handling and active steering), electric rear and manual side sunshades.

Saw an M3 with this colour option just last week at my dealership. It is drop-dead gorgeous but a $5000 option in Canada. The maintenance would be horrendous and any repair/patch-work a nightmare.
