This is too early....but anyone's prediction on the new F10 pricing?
similar to current E60? lower / higher?
given current mkt + economy....i think it will be roughly same or even lower...

click on "Priese" at the lower center of the screen...pricing is in euro's..but a good reference point IMO...as we all know price differences between various countries/regions for the current e60's...similar differences I would think apply to the f10

just checked the german bmw website....
$50k euro for 535i
$70k euro for 550i
but i noted the 19" wheel looks awesome~~~anyone know german? what about m kit?

I think the U.S. prices will be slightly under the GT pricing, which lists for $64,XXX USD for a 550 plus options and so forth. Which will put it somewhere near the current car's pricing.

I think it will be a bit cheaper than the current 5 series or at least have more standard options. The new E-class is priced aggressively and to avoid loosing sales BMW needs to have a similar price point.

Looks like the 550i has more std equipment than before, but prices in Germany are as always... its all about the options!
Nice to see the Sports Automatic being offered across the entire range, rather than just the top few models. That's going to be important in Europe, where the smaller diesel & petrol engines play a big role due to taxes / fuel costs etc.
I noticed they have kept the 6cyl 3.0l in place for the "200hp diesel model". I really thought they would bring in the bi-turbo 2.0l 4-cyl engine from the 123d and have a "523d" to fill the position around 200hp. Not sure how they would introduce this engine now? Maybe their research suggested that a a 6cyl is what customers wanted, compared to a 4-cyl. However Mercedes already has the E250cdi 4-cyl bi-turbo and Audi has plans to introduce such a model, and you really cannot hear much of a difference when inside the cabin. I hope BMW know what they are doing here...
