F10 M5 Photo-f10_m5b.jpg

Hopefully this is not a repost but I came across this M5 photo today and it looks like the front bumper on the M5 will be that of the M3 except it will be lower in profile and longer in length. This is reminiscent of the E39 M5 vs. E36 M3. This was an unexpected development and BMW now has my interest.....

Good pics! Can see that bumper clearly but I really wish they made it a different design. It looks exactly like the M3 bumper. I was hoping for something more distinctive.

Am I missing something here? That bumper is heavily camouflaged and I get little idea of what the production appearance will be from those photos.

I think the ONLY way to know whether this indeed is an M5 is to have the person who took this pic tell us about the kind of sound coming from this test mule. Since that's not happening, its kind of hard to be sure what this is IMO.

+1. The car is a test mule and we all know that BMW uses false/camoflage body parts on its test mules.

Actually... the dash looks like it may have a double-binnacle things going on; to the best of my knowledge, "regular" F10s will have the iDrive/Nav screen mounted a la 5er GT/F01...

Could quite well be something powerfull under that camoflage judging by the size of those front and rear drilled discs
