Here are a few more F10 M-Sport pics I found this morning on a blog. These are apparently official BMW photos. Not very large, but the darker color is handsome as I suspected:

Interestingly, the URL's of this pics are "bmw-5-series-m-11.jpg", 21, 41, and 31, so there are obviously a lot more of them available. For those who know to try changing the URL manually in your browser window, this was a no-go. These are all this site had. Who can find the others?

Btw, I already tried googling "bmw-5-series-m-11.jpg" and all I discovered was that 1-6 are for the Touring model. These must be from the same photoshoot... They're definitely out there somewhere!

I just found these same pics in high-res on the official BMW media site, but no others. WARNING: These are between 5 and 8MB's each! I didn't bother with the wheel pic, but you can really zoom in on these if you'd like to study the details. It's only a matter of time before the others are released apparently.

Last one: For those with broadband, def check out the interior! From the smaller pics I had no idea that the console and doors, armrests, etc. are all covered in the same special cloth with contrasting stitching. Really is nice even though we won't see this in the States. Regardless, though, even in leather I would hope to see this amount of customization.

I wish we could get these over here...
I'm sure the Alpina will be available in the US.

The Alpinas are to be compared with the BMW M-models,
but usually more comfortable.

In Europe they can have normal service in most countries.

At least the Alpina packs can be ordered from,

this is why alpina has not and I believe will not be available in the US. Especially now that both will be FI based powerplant

I am curious to know the difference between the aplina 8 speed transmission and most likely the f10 m5 dct

I like it a lot in the dark blue color. Looks too angular in Alpine White. I like the 19s but they sure do remind me of the 19s on my 2006 Infiniti M45 Sport.
