afaik no rear spoiler is included with M-sport, could be a typo you were looking at. But double check with BMW NA.

The spoiler is sheer tackiness on an F10. It is worthless in terms of function.

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.
How can you say that. The Chinesse like small rear spoilers and BMW knows that - they designed them for that mass market appeal - people like small spoilers nowadays.
Kidding. Really, just joking around.

I agree it has nothing to do with function. You could also say that about the M5 Trunk Finisher I added to my E60, but it did not stop me putting it on there
Its one of those visual add ons which just comes down to personal taste and in the case of the F10 rear spoiler, from the pictures I have seen I actually quite like it.

mods so far - red euro reflectors, UGDO & compass rearview mirror, 35% tint, H&R Sport Springs, 18" style 124 OEM rims
The US M-sport does not come with the rear spoiler. The Canadian M-Sport package comes with the spoiler included.
My 535 is set for production next week and the dealer confirms that Canadian spec M-Sport includes the rear spoiler.
