F10 525d 2010 boot/trunk lid shoots open without any dampening
Hi
As the title of the thread states my boot lid flies open and the whole car shakes.
I think the dampener/shock absorber or whatever it's called has broke. I have to hold the boot lid down when opening it now.
What replacement part will I need and is the dampener within the spring or are they separate units?

just to clarify my car is 2010 f10. This site only seems to list f10 from 2011.
