F10 523i owners: about the engine

Dear owners of the 523i and also F10 fans. I'm interested in the 523i, but some reviewers say that after the car reaches 100kmh, it gains peed too slowly. Is that true? I didn't have a chance to test drive the car, but I'd like to order it. So please help.

140-150 maybe yes, but 100... no.
Still, the price difference between 523i and 528i is so small I would get the 528i today if I was doing it again.
