Yes, the new F10 is The New 5-series BMW, the E60 feels now like a relic.
The car had 19" brand new wheels with RF GoodYear's, the stickers
where on the tires when I started my test tour today.
I took it up to 150 km/h and no sound from the wheels, what so ever.
You need to understand, that the roads are in very bad condition after the
rough winter over here.
Some noice come from the side windows or rear, but only the silence brought it up.
The 8 speed auto is also fantastic. One doesn't even know there's a transmission.
The negative points are that the side mirrors are not as good as on the E60 and the cars outlines where very hard to see.
I guess this is something that one gets used to.
Get the PDC or even the PDC with a camera (as the car had).
The test car had leather sport seats (much better than in my E60) and the
Adaptive Drive (incl.Dynamic Damper Control and Driving Dynamic Control).
There is a markable difference between Sport and Comfort.
All in all the car feels a lot larger, more solid, better build and more like a real Premium car than the E60.

Great review.
Everything sounds great other than the car feeling larger. A smaller feel = sportier and more fun to drive. But BMW packed on hundreds of pounds when moving from the E60 to the F10.

Well, I'm actually sorry for the lousy review.
No pics, nor nothing.
The salesman, who was new in the house (an ex-Volvo sales guy),
did mess with the keys and cars.
Finally after some 30 minutes he found a car for me to drive.
He didn't know anything about the car and gave my a lousy offer.
I'm now dealing with two other BMW-sales companies, for away from home.
Helsinki or nearby Espoo is not the place to buy a BMW!
Let's see if I can get a good deal for a new Jet Black on Black on Black F10...
Then I promise you great pics.
