comparison pics F10 vs. E-Class..

Guys I know this is a repost, so don't kill me, but last time I posted it it was in the middle of a huge thread so I think that not many members saw it.
I just stumbled across these pics again and I had to think: wow, how can this car be so unbelievably more beautiful than this monster of a thing that is the latest E-class!
Enjoy the great pics, to me they are a revelation of how good the F10 design is compared to the current Stuttgart competitor:

I'll tell you what though, if you see FlyM5's new E63 AMG in person, I think you'd think differently of it, it is absolutely beautiful in person.

Sure, big wheels and a nice bodykit can improve any car lookswise - therefore I would compare the AMG with the upcoming F10 M5.
I agree that the E-class has some nice aspects to its design - I've seen and sat in a few of these since the introduction and the initial shock has faded, allowing me to partly understand its design, sort of. At least outside, inside its still beyond me.
HOWEVER putting it next to the F10 just illustrates very clearly how much more consistent a car can look, making it pointless to try to discover nice aspects in the MB design in which so much else went wrong.
Just my 2 cents, I am sure there are people that like the Merc. Just thought that the pics are very useful for comparison purposes.

I agree the new 5 is a much more successful design than the E, although the particular example is not being helped by its color or rinky-dink 16" wheels. The biggest letdown for me on the E is that it doesn't seem to have any traditional Mercedes styling elements to it. Take the grille off and it could be anything.

I rather see the current E60 and F10 along side and compare it! There are many people who would agree with me that exterior design of the E60 actually looks as new and fresh if not newer than the F10.
Like, the current E90 3 Series will not be remembered in the next 20 years whereas the E60 will always be remembered in my opinion for creating a car way back in late 2003 that looks like a car that is suitable in 2010!
