Collision warning Prewarning sensitivity
#1
I have F10 with Active Cruise Control and have been wondering how to adjust the Collision warning sensitivity.
User manual says:
Configuring the prewarning
After the warning function is switched on, the
following can be set via the iDrive:
? The prewarning can be switched on/off.
? The time of the prewarning can be set.
What is the correct path to adjust it in iDrive ?
I have been trying to find it but without success...

I'm still wondering that text in user manual how to do that sensitivity change in practise.

Finally found it.
First by pressing the collision warning button off and then on, iDrive shows three options for the sensitivity. Well hidden must say, as user manual does not describe it at all!

I have been now driving for 3 weeks and so far gotten already 4 false alarms even sensitivity is 'off' state in iDrive!
All false alarms have occured during normal high way driving when active cruise control is On. And in all those cases when my car is passing a big lorry/truck on straight 2 lane road (even some cases when no other car front of me, only the truck in side lane!). The most annoying issue is that car will break for 1 sec which means that cars behind me will need to suddenly also break!
Anybody else similar experience, any SW update available ?
