BMW Decides to GoPro
The only thing cooler than pulling off a sick drift in your BMW is showing your friends and the Internet just how sick it is. That's exactly the purpose of GoPro cameras.
Now the two companies are joining forces. "In BMW Group vehicles equipped with the BMW Apps or MINI Connected option, a GoPro camera may now be configured and controlled using BMW’s state-of-the-art iDrive controller and high-resolution screen. Starting in July 2014, the integration will be functional on all model year 2012 and later BMW Group vehicles equipped with the BMW Apps or MINI Connected option, when used with a Wi-Fi-equipped GoPro camera." You can download the free GoPro App through the iTunes Store.

My Ride: ActiveHybrid - fully tricked out
Model Year: 2013
Sounds very cool. Although I don't do a lot of drifting these days. My videos will be pretty boring.
I should ask this elsewhere but .... it says it works with Wifi (Hero 3+). I have a Hero 1 with a Wifi back. I *wonder* if that will work with it. Anyone know?
I'll give it a shot when the support comes out (presumably in the GoPro app).
Cheers
