2011 BMW 535d ? First Look

The new BMW 535d somehow manages to make the previous 535d, with a mere 391 pound-feet of torque, look like a slouch. Not only that, it does this with improved fuel economy and acceleration. This ?

Looks great! 440 ft/lb torque is excellent!....should easily overtake the 535i, E350 or A6 3.0T

My new 535d MSport is at the dealership, went to look at it last week . I know I'm biased, but it does look good in MSport trim.

Pick it up in 9 days time...not that I'm counting :-)

Thank's for the writing and links JSpira

But over 800 miles with one tank of diesel will never happen,
not even with the 520dA.

But otherwise the new BMW 535d is a great and smart car.

Very low CO2's and a very, very powerful engine.
