Exactly right. I leased an Infiniti M45 Sport for 3.5 years. The engine was great and it was great in the twisties. The ride sucked big time: buckboard rough. The stereo and electronics were superior to BMW by far.

To me it's ridiculous to compare the 5 Series to any of its competitors since all of them (be it E-Class, A6 or anything else) are just weak alternatives to the standard setter of its segment.

Only thing i didnt like about it, is the car "thinks" for like 1.5-2 seconds before it starts to accelerate. When i hit the accelerator i expected it to "jump", but there was no "jump". I was explained by the sales guy, that "this is just how it is, all turbos are like that". I drive a 2005 525 now, and i think the new 5 series is a completely different vehicle.

I hear a lot good things about reliability of Infiniti and Lexus, and that both have more options and more luxurious interior than BMW.

I drive a lot, and most of my driving is on the highway. I put in at least 120 miles a day.

What is the best car for me? What do you think?

Current cars:
2005 BMW 525 (good size, sporty and elegant at the same time, transmission may give up anytime now)
2007 NISSAN Murano (great small SUV)
Previous:
2001 BMW 330 (quick, powerful, but way too small)
2005 NISSAN ALTIMA (very reliable, solid, stiff)
2004 CHRYSLER PACIFICA (disappointment)
others - too many to list
thanks dear for tell the information about all models of bmw CAR'S. BUT I LIKE MOST BMW55OI. it look like very pretty....
