i dont think I like the style of the f10 much. when the f10 comes out, I'll priolly get the e60 M5. Gotta love the 10 cylinders and I believe it's a collector's item. HEHE
As for XI, u dont need an XI. Calton was a wussy and had an xi. he's STILL a wussy with blizzaks! LOL. I drove a CLK55 AMG in CRAZY snowy weather in western New York with low profiler all season tires.

I'd consider a 550xi if it had a real sport package, not just the few cosmetic bolt ons that BMW has done will all of the other x "sport" models.

Unfortunately, the E60 M5 nor the F10 M5 will ever be a collectors item. It's a fact.
and E30 M3 and perhaps one day the E46 M3 (less sure).

that sucks. but I love the e60 M5. Fug it. I'll buy one anyway when the F10 comes out. Interlagos Blue or Indianneapolis (I cant spell it) Red.
If they put the twin turbo in the new M5 I'm buying a benz and keying every F10 I see in protest (this is a joke in case it doesn't translate over the internet). Actually I'll just complain about it over the internet for 2 years and still buy it anyway.

My Ride: 2008 528i: Silver/Black/Light Wood, ZPP, ZCW, STEP, Comfort Seat, Heated Rear Seat, PDC, Xenon, Nav, iPod. 35% ceramic tint, VentureShield clear bra.
Well if you look at the new 750Xi, it has Driving Dynamics Control and Dynamic Damping Control listed as standard items. the only thing that the Sport package of 750i adds more is the Active Roll Stabilization.
On the F10, Driving Dynamics Control and Dynamic Damping Control are part of the Sport package. It is possible that the sport package for F10 Xi would include these two features, with only ARS not included. If that's the case, drive/handling of the new Xi with ZSP could improve significantly over the current generation.

You are right, Integral Active Steering is not available on 750Xi. On 750i it's an individual option, not part of the Sport package. I expect the same for the 5 series.
As far as I can tell, most 5 series owners have not ordered Active Steering when it's an individual option.

I'd never consider an X Drive 550. Too much extra weight to an already porky car means sub par handling and no feeling of tossability. Not for me.
