It's official now, they are releasing the Z4 with the new gasoline turbo engine and will roll out in other models late this year new F10 will have 4 new engines

PD: I think the 235hp petrol would be branded 525i. Also I guess the 528i would become 530i and gain some extra power (but dunno whether from a 6er or a 4turbocharged...)

info from BMW insider, who works in its South Asia office in Singapore. He gave me the info a few months before but nothing specific, now they got the schedule of the whole series. Apparently the F30 will go in to production in November , I was a bit surprised to know that.....another low key launch, as you know the F10 was not launched in any big car show or anything.

So, with 'late in the year', which month does it refer?
I guess that's for sure after summer...My guess would be by the 1er launch (September)

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
EU has a made a promise to lower the CO2 and other pollutions, so the 4 in line turbos are a must.
A diesel 2.0 turbo F10/11 in now available and is a very strong produce!

My Ride: f10 520da - 328 wheels, ambient lighting, sport s-wheel, oyster/black, fineline anthracite, Sophisto Gray
They will come for sure but will they be availble for the F10/11 before the LCI modes, in 2014, I'm not sure.

Today, BMW revealed the full details around their new 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine. The engine is being included in the also new BMW X1 xDrive28i.
I assume it will eventually be introduced across the range of BMW models including the F10/11 over the next year or 2 .
It looks a cracker.
