My Ride: 2007 550i - Monaco Blue with Auburn Interior. Sport, auto. Ordered 10-30-06
Has anyone out there been able to order a 2013 550? I wanted to confirm if they're shipping it with the new motor as referenced in Car & Driver.
Also wanted to see if anyone can confirm what's included in the executive package. If anyone has the 2013 ordering and pricing guide, could you let me know?
I was doing research preparing to order the M5 when I saw the post about the new motor. I'm thinking 445HP is plenty. Saves me twenty five grand.
I'm doing European delivery this time. Best way to go, best price, cool experience.

Can't help you on pricing but I believe the "Executive Package" is a bundle of options that are also available separately. Sort of a way to make the order sheet "easier" or to include individual options that might not be selected if the order was worked a'la carte.

Heaven know how much power Dinan can squeeze out of the new TT V8 assuming that BMW actually puts it in the 2012 550.

I am in the process of ordering a 2013 550i. All information I have seen says the upgraded HP is ONLY on the GT and not on the 5 Sedan. No problem as I intend to do the Dinan upgrade in a year or two.

From some of the press releases I've read, reading between the lines I would think the LCI 2014 f10 550 will have the n63tu (power bumped engine)
I also am curious to know if a performance package will also be offered for the LCI model as they did with the X5 and X6 models...

Plan on it. Working out the trip now. Should be fun assuming I get the array of radar detectors installed.
