Default 2012 550i vs 2011 535i

Posted this on another forum but also checking here to get the most input. I'm looking at two used 5-series. One is a 2012 550i with ~50K miles. The other is a 2011 535i with ~30K miles, which is priced about $3K higher. I'm actually leaning toward the 535i due to the fact that it has lower miles and the more reliable N55 engine. Better gas mileage doesn't hurt either. However, price guides indicate the 550i is a much better deal, and is of course cheaper. I'm interested in opinions from F10 owners here. Thanks!

Agree 100%, I'd do the same thing if I were choosing between those two cars. Good luck with whichever one you end up with.

Avoid the N63 at all costs. It's a money sink hole.

I just picked up a 2011 535i xDrive with 19k mi, bumper to bumper warranty for 3 years/60k mi and paint protection/interior protection for 5 years. Couldn't be happier! Came from an 07 530i N52 so it felt like the most logical upgrade. Had a few tempting offers for 550i's but I passed because they had 60-70k and no warranty
