Looks like we're not going to see the F10 M-Sport Kit in the USA this year.

I heard today from a reliable source that the M-Sport Kit will not be available until the F10 M5 is launched which is about a year or so away...

+1 I haven't had a car without leather since I was 18, not about to start now Since I prefer black interiors, I wouldn't mind aluminum trim. I like the wood mainly because unlike other makers BMW uses REAL wood

...this is always the case with BMW NA and the M-sport pak, in fact, i doubt it will be offered officially until the LCI as they think they are protecting M for some rediculous reason

so as in the past, as soon as its out in the ROW, you'll be able to buy the body parts and have them added at your local body shop or dealership but no cool colors, wheels or interior upgrades for several years

Not sure your location and offered package levels, but the M sport pak has a different front bumper, different side skirts, different rear bumper, different wheel options, and different interior appointments including m-style steering wheel, usually m-door sills, and diff interior strips, and then a different suspension tune and exterior color choices.

If you follow the links with pix, you can't miss the differences vs the "standard" model pix.

I seem to remember the M-sport kit was available on the E60 well before the LCI version came out. I don't see why they wouldn't repeat that trend with the F10 (as my source tells me they will...)

I agree. The E60 M5 didn't come out until 2006, so I understand the delay of the E60's M5-looking MSport kit for the NA market. However, we already know that the F10 M5 is due out next year so it stands to reason we should see the F10's MSport kit here a lot sooner. Based on the sales of these most recent M5's and MSport packages, BMW is going to do whatever it takes to maximize their profit potential. That's what they exist for...
