Had to post this - my 2009 X drive wagon just slaying the 22 inches of snow we got here in CT last night.

The X drive turns my car into a snow plow. This is on all season radials, Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. I took off the runflats last year, and have been really impressed with these tires.

Turning DTC off made it even more fun.

Enjoy

LOL, great video!

I would never have the stomach to expose my car to this but it does show what these cars can do with a set of good tires!

Must have been a blast

Last year we had a 18" snowfall and drove my 530xi out of our unplowed driveway so the plow could clear the driveway. I have General All-Season tires and they performed flawlessly. However, I was very careful not to hit any hard-packed snow or ice that could be as dangerous to body panels as a rock!

My Ride: 2007 530xiT: CPO purchase in 2008, used by a BMW exec previously, and like-new when I got it. Compared to my other cars, at first I thought it felt heavy and steering was too heavy. Now, I really enjoy driving it in town and on the freeway. On my

Gundo, thanks. While i enjoyed that, this one is my all-time favorite, an e61 in full power drift with snow plumes coming off all tires like a Panzer tank dispensing smoke camouflage:

Put some snow tires on.... It's even more fun.... Helps you stop much better too... Oh.. Gundo, I see we have similar taste in German cars.

Great video Gundo! Enjoyed it a lot - not to mention how fun it must have been for you behind the wheel
