E61 Touring Discussion The touring is also known as the wagon version of the 5 series.

Will 255/40/19 tires on ET40 wheels fit without issue?

Yes, they are 189s and I could sell them. I was thinking I'd keep them for winter wheels, but if you're interested let me know, I'm not greedy about the price at all. They are in perfect condition (no rim scuff at all, waxed, cleaned of brake dust continuously) with tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport) which have 15k miles on them. I'm not worried about making too much money on them, I'd be happy to be pretty lenient if another forum member wants them to make their car pretty. Only thing I would keep from them are the BMW centercaps. Thse come with TPMS sensors installed of course.

make me an offer.

I have some crappy quality preliminary camera phone pics of my wheels mounted, and if I may say so myself... they look GREAT!!!! Phone died so I couldn't get pics of car with all wheels mounted, but will post some better pics soon.

I achieved what I set out to achieve which was to reduce fender gap without lowering suspension, and having tires with some meat in their sidewall to avoid that "lifted look" and give some compliance to the ride. So, 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 wheels fit... JUST. In the back as you may be able to see from the pics there is a good half inch on the inside, but they clear the air suspension components fine. In the front, on the left wheel with the wheel cranked all the way to the right, the outside of the left wheel just barely touches the fender liner.

Here are the pics, hopefully these will help others who are contemplating the same change. As an aside, I noticed that the new 5 series with the sport package has these exact same size tires, but that is an altogether bigger car.

JUUUUUST cleared the inside of the wheel well on rear
