I had emailed off the above picture to my usual body shop that does good work, and this is what they came back with. The plus side is my own estimate was high...
Going by the picture alone with the assumption it would need around 1.5hr repair, the rocker moulding needs to come off and painted probably about $300 - $350 plus 12% tax ($350 to $400 all in).

you know how some neighborhood streets are narrow such that only one car can pass? so when there's an open spot and two people come facing each other, one turns into the open slot while the other passes.
Well, my ex, while driving my other wagon, pulls into a spot on the right to allow oncoming car to pass, she then cuts it too tight when leaving and the parked car is an old 1970's era with chrome bumpers....creased both passenger side doors and rear quarter metal. $4500 was the bill. Looks perfect and is warrantied for life but that sucked.
Many women simply don't have the spacial thinking possibly but they are usually better communicators than men.

Lotus we need to get together and have a beer!
My wife has curbed all 4 Alufelgen wheels, going to be powder coated before summer. She also managed to curb one of the 19's summer wheels on the Audi 3 weeks after I got it, WTF!!!

Well, I do have to admit that I curbed all 4 wheels on the Audi before she got it and that pissed her off because other than the one booboo event, she's much better parking than I am !
I'm used to driving this which just allows me to not worry about silly things like curbs and poles:
