I'll tell you the two easy ones first...

1 - This one might be tough for the Euro gang come to think of it, since their cars don't come with the orange reflectors in the bumper... I decided to have mine painted to match the body colour.

2 - I bought matte black kidney grills, but preferred the look of the outer rings being painted to match the body colour instead of matte (stands out too much IMO), so that's what those are! Am I the first on the forum who's done this to his E61? I know of the BMW Performance gloss black ones, but haven't seen anyone with matching coloured outer rings. I'll leave the slats matte.

3 - No guesses? It's a tough one... There are 8 rings glued onto that box and 4 thingamagigs in the smaller box that's on top of the main box...

Yes, us Euros do not have the reflectors. If you paint them over, is that still legal?

8 rings => something to do with pdc?

Oops, forgot to update.

Yeah, the painted reflectors aren't technically legal... I could have gone with the smoked type I suppose, which would have still looked nice, but hoping I don't have any issues with it, since it's not as noticeable as tint on front windows, which most cops are picky about.

The 8 rings are for the PDC sensors (which are the other 4 things being painted). My car didn't come with PDC (for some crazy reason, but has almost every other option, including the silly LDW, which I'd have gladly swapped with PDC). So I got 4 rear aftermarket sensors, and had the rings painted in advance. Wasn't sure which angle of rings would work, so I got them to paint two sets of 4's to be safe.
