E61 Touring Discussion The touring is also known as the wagon version of the 5 series.

To what extent are dealers in the USA discounting the E61?

Specifically in the northeast. I have local deal who's reputation is not to discount at all or to just give a token 500 to 1,000 off the price. Anyone getting deals at or below invoice on this vehicle or is it just too hot?

I got mine for $1000 below invoice, however I'm in the midwest (near Chicago) and it was in September before BMWFS began offering 0.001 MF.

I don't know where in the northeast you are but I am in the Boston area and i am currently waiting for a 2007 530xit for which I paid $1000 over invoice which translates to about $4000 off of MSRP, I'm pretty happy with that deal. Talk to the internet sales managers

I am in Massachusetts and I paid $500 over invoice in Nov. '05 for a October build '06 xiT and super low lease rate. I was very happy with the deal. In addition a received a $1000 rebate from BMWNA for being a member of BMWCCA. That put me at a net of $500 below invoice. If you are a regular buyer of BMW's in the U.S., membership is a must. I have received thousands in rebates over the years.
