Finally got my ISC coilovers. Was amazed at how fast they came from Taiwan when finally shipped. Maybe three days. Even got adjustable links. No install instructions or even stickers, though.
Now I have just about everything I want/need to do:
Coilovers for air suspension delete
M5 integral links
Passenger mat sensor fix
Back seat seat belt buckle
Likely even deleting the headlight washers
Also have some Centric/Bosch for the rear brakes on their way that I'll do sometime soon.
AND while I'm taking care of the front coilovers, I'll be able to finally see whether or not my poor man's BBK will fit at least in the front. Rears will 99.99% need a bracket.

Finally put the ISC coilovers on. Took nearly 10 hours as it appears the front struts were the originals...they were rusted in and had caked in sand/dirt. So that was fun. Lots of kicking, mallet use, and jack use was involved.
Rears were insanely easier. The only "hard" part was removing most of the cargo interior to get access to everything. Ended up removing everything for the air suspension while I was at it. Still need to weigh them.
Forgot to install the M5 integral links so yaaayyyy. Get to do that at some point now.
Test fit my Brembo caliper I pulled from a different car. Nearly perfect fit, but the Brembo bolt points are maybe 5-10mm too short compared to what's on the E61. I'll be having to send an extra knuckle to a buddy to see if he can fab up a bracket, now. Really wishing the rear knuckles on the E61 weren't different compared to the rest of the E60s. Unless the knuckle just is and the bolt hole location is the same....

So our E61 extended warranty ends on the 16th of this month, and three or so weeks ago the starter gave out. Late yesterday we got it back from the dealership after it got the coolant overflow tank, oil filter housing seal, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gasket replaced. $4300 later, it is back home and happy.
I gotta say that the 100K mile point on the 2006 E61 is brutal. We bought the car for $14K and added on a $4300 extended warranty for three years. There has been just about $20K of work done on our wagon and all of it happened between 100 - 115K miles. We love driving the car, but not having the extended warranty would have meant, that replacing the AC pump, fuel pumps, starter, valve cover/oil pan gaskets, and transmission valve body would all have been on my dime. That extended warranty is pretty much the single best purchasing decision in my life. We look forward to another 100K of fun driving, with only typical repairs now.
