Hi there,
Just fitted some new non-run flats wheels and tyres to my touring and wanted to know how to turn off TPM warning?
Cant seem to do through trial and error or via the handbook.
Its an 05 model.
Thanks in advance!

so you could not use the TPM sensor and stem from the original wheel in the new wheel?

As the previous poster indicated, later year models use TPMS devices mounted in the wheel. Your '05 probably has a system that relies on wheel rotation [nothing in or on wheels]. The reset should be in the iDrive menu; instructions are in your owner's manual (also available on line in the Forum's information section).

Hi There,
Ive been told that you can still use the TPM so why would you want to turn it off ?
Why not just re-initialize it.
As the tyre is monitored by its rotational speed it wouldnt be a problem after you had set your pressures correctly!
Give it a go.

That's what I have done on my 04 E61.
