Default Tire rating V or W on 2007 E61

Is there that much of a difference in handling between a W rated Continental DWS and a Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 with a V rating? Let me know if you've had any experience along those lines. Have had the DWS for 35K and are needing to be replaced. Thanks.

Yes, they come in V as well as H, along with W and Y. I had a set of Michelin A/S3 V rated installed today because Michelin has a warranty that in 30 days one could exchange(according to internet and dealer). My opinion after taking a normal route home, very nice ride(like a Cadillac), handling and steering not to my expectations, so in the next week off with the V's and on with W's. When BMW sells with W's, don't doubt the engineers.
