I wasn't the one who answered you. Had I answered, I would have said, "We're running different versions of software so I really don't know how to clear the missed calls..."

On the 2009 and earlier cars, you don't even have to delete the numbers to make the icon go away, you just have to go to the missed calls screen and see them for it to disappear...

After looking up some things in the 2010 manual, I'd say look around the "telephone | messages" area and see if the missed calls are treated like a message...

Got an email from BMW today stating that the symbol merely means phone not connected as it disappears when you make a call and reappears when you hang up.

Problem solved.........I hope

Well that makes sense! If that also means they've done away with the missed call indication, I'm good with that too!
