Hello All

I've had this icon for a while now and don't know what it is. I've contacted BMW and they don't know either. There is no effect on functionality and everything works. The icon is the phone handset sign with a cross next to it. I'd swear it wasn't there when I picked the car up so wondered if any body else has this symbol?

Regards

Steve

That might be a new Missed Call icon.

now, that's encouraging... F10 anyone?

Sorry to crap in your thread, Steve - I obviously have no clue what the icon is, but I think its ridiculous that BMW don't know what their own icons mean - kinda puts off from buying another ~60k dollar car from them... well, anyway, hopefully, its just a missed call or smth. All the best!

Hi Guys

Thanks for the responses. I don't think it's a missed call as it's permanently on and I have no missed calls on my phone. I wonder if it's anything to do with the built in phone that is part of the BMW Online Services?

You have to clear the missed call in iDrive. Trust us, that's what it is...

This is just retarded - why would you have to clear the missed calls in the iDrive? Does BMW really think it's customers have nothing better to do with their time?

I can think of bigger things to worry about...

Besides, as soon as they remove that feature, there will be people who complain that while their phone is in the cradle, etc., they don't know if they've missed a call without looking at the phone...
